KINTO ON CAMPUS PROGRAM

A new experience for CSUDH.
This program is designed for your convenience and our shared commitment to sustainability. KINTO will provide CSUDH with on-campus hybrid and battery-electric vehicles, giving you easy access to convenient vehicle rentals at a discounted rate. This program is for the registered students and staff, who will have access to the vehicle fleet when they need to leave campus and want an affordable transportation solution.

When registering for the CSUDH program on the KINTO app, students and staff must use their CSUDH email address. This is to ensure that only CSUDH students and staff can access the program and to streamline the registration process.
They must pay the initial application fee, which KINTO will refund the customers once the application is submitted and approved. The refund will be issued within [10 business days] of the application approval. No memberships are required.
Participants cannot use the vehicles assigned to the CSUDH program for commercial purposes, including rideshare or delivery services.
Our rates start at a pocket-friendly $4 an hour, allowing you to rent for a minimum of 2 hours and up to 28 days. Standard rates apply to all reservations. We believe in making this program accessible to all, without compromising on quality or service.
The age restriction for the KINTO On-Campus Program is 21 years or older. This is to ensure that all participants meet the legal requirements for driving and renting a vehicle.
There are no pick-up lines; everything is done through your phone with the KINTO app. Upon completion of the reservation, the customer must return the vehicle clean with a full fuel tank for non-EVs and an 80% charge for EVs. They must also return the car to the KINTO parking space and complete the return process using the app, or additional fees will be added.
To rent from the non-CSUDH fleet on and off campus, students and staff must be 25 years or older and toggle through the KINTO SHARE and CSUDH app interface.
