KINTO Share Referral Program Rules

Thank you for helping to grow our program. KINTO Share invites you to participate in our referral programs to encourage your friends and family to use the KINTO Share applications. Participating in a referral program (either by referring your friends or family or signing up with a referral code) can be a great way for KINTO Share users to receive KINTO Share referral credits.

KINTO Share Referral Program rules are in addition to any agreements between you and KINTO Share, including our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Rules”). By accepting and sharing your referral code or by signing up with a referral code, you are agreeing to be bound by these Rules. Any violation of these Rules will not only prevent you from participating in any KINTO Share referral program (now or in the future), but could also result in the forfeiture or retraction of KINTO Share credits earned through the program and even the deactivation of your account.

In addition, there may be other terms that apply to your Referral Reward based on the city where you signed up, including what actions you may need to take as well as the type and amount of the Referral Reward. See the additional terms that came with your invitation or those provided in our app when you made your referral.

Please note that these Rules are in addition to the Terms of Use as updated from time to time and can be found here – governing your use of KINTO Share’s apps as well as any agreement (if one exists) between you and KINTO Share or any of its subsidiaries and affiliates related to your interactions with KINTO Share.

  1. Who is eligible to be a referrer/inviter (“Referrer”)?

    Anyone may be a Referrer who (a) is a legal resident of the United States, (b) is at least 21 years of age, and (c) has a KINTO Share account in good standing.

  2. Who can I refer/invite?

    You can refer/invite friends, family, and other people you know (but not yourself). For purposes of these Rules, anyone you refer is referred to as a New User. To determine eligibility, keep in mind the following stipulations:

    To receive a Referral Reward for referring a New User who makes a reservation and uses a KINTO Share vehicle through the KINTO Share application, the New User must (a) be a new KINTO Share user, (b) meet the conditions KINTO Share has for using the app, and (c) complete the actions required by the referral program.

    Referrers and New Users cannot create duplicate/multiple accounts.

    If you are providing KINTO Share with the contact information for a possible New User, you represent that you have the right to provide the New User’s information.

  3. How can I use my referral code?

    KINTO Share has the right to limit the number of times you may use or share your referral code based on the referral program in which you participate.

    You may only share your referral code with people you know. You agree that you will not:

    1. Duplicate, sell, or transfer your referral code in any manner or make it available to the general public (such as by printing it on business cards; posting it on a coupon website, job website or using it as part of a job application, including but not limited to the following website and applications Amazon, EBay, Fiverr, Craigslist, RetailMeNot, Reddit, Wikipedia, Gumtree, Moneysavingexpert, Groupon or using paid social media or paid search);
    2. Try to get New Users by spamming, bulk emailing, or sending large numbers of unsolicited emails. The only people you should be emailing are people you know personally;
    3. Use, display, or manipulate KINTO Share intellectual property (such as KINTO Share’s logos, trademarks, and copyright-protected works) in any way, except as to identify yourself as an KINTO Share user or KINTO Share Referrer;
    4. Create or register any (i) businesses, (ii) URLs, (iii) domain names, (iv) software application names or titles, or (v) social media handles or profiles that include the word “KINTO Share” or any of KINTO Share’s other trademarks or any words that are confusingly similar to KINTO Share’s trademarks.
    5. Use KINTO Share’s trademarks as your social media profile picture or wallpaper or use any of KINTO Share’s copyright-protected works (such as graphics, photos, images, drawings, and screenshots from KINTO Share’s website or app) without KINTO Share’s express written permission;
    6. Purchase keywords (including, but not limited to Google AdWords) that contain any of KINTO Share’s trademarks;
    7. Use automated systems or bots through any channel to distribute, post, or otherwise share your referral code;
    8. Use scripts or programmed or automatic dialers to send invites or otherwise share your referral code;
    9. Make misleading claims about KINTO Share, use offensive/abusive content, create fake websites/webpages/social media profiles/apps, misrepresent your connection to KINTO Share, or otherwise make any false or misleading statements to get any person to use your code; or
    10. Use your referral code in any manner that violates the law or the rights of anyone else.

    Remember, when you share your referral code, you should explain that you are an KINTO Share Referrer.

  4. How do I earn my Referral credits as a Referrer?

    As long as you and the New User follow these Rules and the Terms of Use governing your use of KINTO Share’s apps, and you have an activated account, you should receive your credits after the New User uses your code to sign up with KINTO Share and completes the requirement of completing the minimum number of reservations required. For driver referrals, 1 completed weekly reservation, 3 completed daily reservations, or 25 hours of completed hourly reservations required to redeem a referral offer. Note that unless stated otherwise on the referral offer, all referral invitations will expire 90 days from send date and all referral rewards will expire 90 days after the date that the New User signs up as a KINTO Share user.

    KINTO Share reserves the right to set a limit on the number of times you may use your referral code. The requirements for receiving, and the amounts of, Referral Rewards are subject to change at KINTO Share’s sole discretion. Referral credits in the form of KINTO Share credits are not transferable, have no cash value, and may expire.

  5. Termination and changes

    KINTO Share reserves the right to change, end, or pause, in whole or in part, any referral program, as well as any Referrer’s or New User’s ability to participate in any referral program or receive referral credits at any time for any reason, including suspected fraud (including by either the Referrer and/or the New User), abuse, or any violation of these Rules as well as any agreement (if one exists) between you and KINTO Share. If KINTO Share ends any referral program, any unused or unredeemed referral credits may be forfeited at that time, provided we give you 14 days of notice to use your referral credits.

    KINTO Share may update these Rules at any time. If KINTO Share makes an update, KINTO Share will post the update on the KINTO Share.com website and applications and provide you notice of the update. Continued participation in any referral program after any update will mean that you have agreed to the update.

    These Rules shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the obligations, rights and remedies of the parties hereunder shall be determined in accordance with such laws. The parties hereby consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Dallas County, Texas, in any action to enforce (or otherwise relating to) these Rules or relating to this Program.

    If any provision of these Rules, or the application of such provision to any person or circumstance, shall be held invalid, the remainder of these Rules, or the application of such provision to persons or circumstances other than those as to which it is held invalid, shall not be affected thereby.
