- UNIVERSAL OPT-OUT MECHANISMS
The KINTO Website recognizes the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal, a user-enabled signal that communicates a user’s preference to opt out. An opt-out preference signal is a signal that is sent by a platform, technology, or mechanism on your behalf that communicates your choice to opt out of data sales or the use of your personal information for targeted advertising. If you are using a browser setting or plug-in that sends an opt-out preference signal when you visit the KINTO Website, we will treat that signal as a valid request from you to opt out of (a) the sharing of your personal information for “targeted advertising” (as such term is defined under applicable law), and (b) the “sale” or “share” (as such terms are defined under applicable law) of your personal information. You can learn more about GPC or download a browser supporting the GPC signal, at https://globalprivacycontrol.org/orgs. If you choose to use the GPC signal, you will need to turn it on for each supported browser or browser extension you use.
Some internet browsers incorporate a “Do Not Track” feature that signals to websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. Given that there is not a uniform way that browsers communicate the “Do Not Track” signal, our websites, including the KINTO Website, do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals. However, you may choose to opt out of our use of targeting and advertising cookies on the KINTO website by clicking on the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of the KINTO Website. You may also choose to block cookies with your browser.
- CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we maintain against accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use. However, no electronic transmission or storage of information can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit to us, or guarantee against the unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction such information.
- CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The KINTO Services are not directed to children under the age of sixteen (16) nor do we market our products or services to such children.
